Thursday we host the GBO Family FunFest at the UW Health's American Family Children's Hospital. Bucky and volunteers play games with patients and families. We give away donated toys and bring general good cheer to the children.
Friday, we host the Greater Bucky Open golf outing. The golf outing itself is not your ordinary event as we have many prizes and contests for every range of golfer including trophies for shortest drive, best golf story, closest to the cow shots, and 1st place trophies for the top 3 teams. The outing ends with a buffet, awards, plus a live and silent auction.
Friday night, we put on a festive GBO Charity Concert at Red Rock Saloon on campus featuring the Best of Madison awarded band, MADISON COUNTY! We also recruit celebrities to be bartenders, have free bull rides, and put on a few 50/50 raffles.
Saturday, we have a GBO Tailgate and head to the football game to cheer on the Badgers.
