Our GBO Traveling Champions Trophy truly travels

As I remember, the trophy was to be a traveling representation of the Bucky Group that does so many wonderful things for Children's Hospital and it has been a privilege and honor to carry it to places like Kapalua in Maui, The Masters at Augusta National and now to Carnoustie, New Course of St Andrews, Kittocks, Old Course of St Andrews, Kingsbarns and the "working man's" Pub, The Keys, in St Andrews, Scotland, UK where a pint or two was consumed or a dram of outstanding "Whiskaaay" was raised in a toast.

Everywhere we traveled there were congratulations on winning followed by the sharing of the story behind the Trophy that our team had won twice that then started so many wonderful conversations about The Greater Bucky Open.

In Scotland, while the trophy was in the "Buggy", we were Team Featherie 2024 with our Embroidered Golf Shirts and authentic Featherie Golf Balls that we would putt out with on the 18th green of each course we played.
