President, CBS Entertainment We are honored to welcome Kelly Kahl as our Celebrity Starter at the 25th Annual Greater Bucky Open. Kelly is a proud Badger alumnus that epitomizes ‘The Wisconsin Idea’ and is continually giving back to the University since graduating with a B.A., Communications in 1989.

Some of his ongoing Badger interests and accolades include:

• Recipient, 2017 UW-Madison Distinguished Alumni Award
• Recipient, 2013 Los Angeles Badger of the Year Award
• Board Member, UW Department of Communication Arts
• Creator of the Kahl Family Media Production Professorship endowed fund at the UW 
• Key supporter of Garding Against Cancer initiative at UW Carbone Cancer Center
• Annually seeks out Badger students for exclusive CBS internships
• Owner of a Badger themed bar The Underground in Hermosa Beach, CA
• Side note, Kelly once took 2nd place running as the bratwurst in the famous sausage race at a Brewers game

When Kelly is not DJ’ing Badger football games at The Underground, he runs CBS Entertainment, the #1 Network on TV. As President, he leads all parts of the Entertainment Division and also oversees marketing and promotion, digital/interactive, diversity and inclusion, publicity, research and scheduling.
